Why do I love ipod? Because all I need are headphones and the ipod itself. I have all the music that I own (or all that I have bothered to transfer to the computer) but for the most part, all of my moods are covered. However, since I have managed to break 2 ipods this month- it's not actually my fault, but I am in the possession of 2 past warranty ipods. The hard drives in each are no longer functioning. That leaves me with a bus commute that is starting to get a but boring. My cell phone has the radio on it which has been tiding me over thus far, but the work day is certainly taking a toll. When I have headphones on I am more productive. Since the lack of ipod I don't seem to get anything done. I'm not sure if they directly correlate, but it's a coincidence either way. I just went on a mission to find a discman. This is now what I have to bring with me- Large sized Discman, headphones, 4 batteries (extras for when they die) and about 6 CD's. I don't really organize my CD collection anymore since my music is all on my computer, so I had to rummage thru all the CD's to find the ones that I listen to the most. And then I have to narrow down the selection to a normal traveling amount.
I just had a flashback to why I purchased an ipod to begin with- I missed the bus and had to wait about 45 minutes for the next one, my batteries died, and I sat at the bus stop with my headphones on anyway- listening to nothing- just so no one would talk to me!
ipod, why don't you love me back?
