Pulling it off.

It's been 3 weeks and I'm just getting around to posting my new haircut.

It's a fairly drastic change from my shoulder length hair that I had before, but so far, I'm loving it. It's funny how other people can get so excited for a change. People keep telling me "you can pull it off." I've realized that with such sort hair I really need the confidence to match it, so it's nice to get the positive feedback from others which of course, only builds the confidence. Also, reading a friend's post about what to do with her hair, reminded me that I hadn't shared my change yet.

In other news, Adam and I head to Vegas for our anniversary in 2 weeks. While we just got back from New York 2 weeks ago, I'm excited for our relaxing vacation. Most people party up in Vegas, we relax and unwind by the pool. I'm also on a mission to use all my vacation time throughout the year so I don't end up using all of it in December like I did last year. So far, we're doing well. We don't have any big trips planned for the summer, just a few smaller things. A weekend in Madison for my cousin's wedding, a camping weekend, maybe a trip to Chicago in August. We're going shopping for a new bike for me this weekend, so ideally we'll add some bike excursions to our list of things to do this summer. Minneapolis has so many bike trails, I want to see more of them!

I'm still working on running, but haven't been running as much as I'd like to. My knee still off and on bothers me, so it's hard to be consistent with running. But the warmer weather is helping ease some pain, so as it finally gets to be bearable to be outside, I hope to figure out a good routine. I've also got my dance rehearsals to keep me busy and Sunday soccer games. Having both soccer and dance in my life again makes me feel like I'm 12 since that was the last time I did both activities. But I'm having a good time with both and just trying to keep my knee healthy.
