The other Adam

I took the early express bus in today and got downtown around 7:15- that's insane since that's the time I am normally getting up! But I wanted to get into work and get a jump on things since I have a lot to do- then why am I writing you ask? The program that I need is not working properly!! Ugh, just my luck. But as I walked to work via the skyways this morning (the express bus is faster, but it drops me off 5 blocks from work versus, across the street) I spotted my 8th grade boyfriend, Adam. We dated for about a week and then I broke up with him via note in the hallway. So cruel I was at 13. I ended up talking to him for a long time at the 5 year reunion we had in June (most of it was akward filler and we stood there holding empty beers), I waved and he did the head nod. It just seems really weird that people I know are all over the place. It's one thing to think about college friends being downtown, but high school, too much. It is now 8 am and I have already spent $3.00. How? .75 cents for extra bus fare, and 2.25 on a bagel! I love you bruegers, but you're robbing me blind, especially when I had a muffin (homemade) in my bag. So much for rewarding myself with coming in early, not I'm just mad at myself.
