Adam and I went to Cheapo on Friday night and he picked up a hard to find Motion City Soundtrack album. I was flipping through the liner notes and noticed that Jamie Woolford is credited. I haven't heard that name in a long time and of course, it brought back some memories. Jamie was in a band Animal Chin back in the later nineties that my sister and I totally loved. We went to as many shows as we could and even drove to Mankato to see them once, and got grounded. Animal Chin broke up and Jamie formed The Stereo. I haven't listened to any of the CDs in about 6 years, but I'm pretty sure that I know every word on the CD. I managed to find 2 Animal Chin CDs, but have yet to find any Stereo CDs. Oh, the agony. And all I can find online are short 30 second clips. That will not due. So frustrating.
Mission #2, make my own Sushi. I am also obsessed right now with Sushi. I have only eaten sushi a couple times, but I am intrigued right now and want more. I've seen a book/kit at Barnes and Nobel that was pretty cheap... it seems like it could be easy, or at least doable. I will see if I ever get the kit, or if I ever make it, but if it wasn't Easter today, and things were open, I would be all over it. Right after I take a nap.
