Beer Mug Bruises, Biking & Baby Names

I'm really glad that I did the Lazyman because it got me to bike as a from of transportation again. Which is good because I still haven't fixed my car. And it's been over 2 months. The tabs on my car expired in June and I still haven't put the new ones since I haven't moved the car out of the driveway, I'm not really worried about it. But it's nice that for me to get to Uptown it's only about 4 miles and doesn't take that much longer than driving or a bus. So, I biked to Uptown last night to meet up with some friends from school. Kyle tried to get me to do the bike horn sound, thankfully I declined this time. After several rounds of drinks I had some difficulty finding my bike and for some reason declined Adam's offer to pick me up. Why is it that when I want to bike, he wants to pick me up? I stumbled my way to my bike and then the real challenge began. Drunken biking. It's f'ing hard! Mounting the bike was impossible, keep my flip-flops on was even harder. After a couple blocks I threw my shoes in my bag and biked barefoot. I passed a cop and was a little paranoid that he was going to pull me over. I'm not sure what the policy on drunken biking is. But the more I think about it, the less I remember about the actual trip and that is starting to scare me.

Naturally this day has been off to a slow start and I discovered that my hands were both hurting in the same place. It took me a minute to realize that my hands are sore from holding my beer mug. Ahhh, good times.

One of my co-workers is going to be a dad very soon so baby names have been a topic of discussion lately. I used to never think about names seriously, but for some reason I am starting to keep track of the names that I like... here are my names of the moment:
1. Arabella (heaven in Italian)
2. Hazel
3. Elliot- Ellie for short

I have always like the "Boy" style name for a girl, but I would want them to have a short "girl" version too. It's really the best of both worlds. The only problem, convincing Adam to like the names. Good thing I work in advertising and that babies aren't on the horizon for several years.

I can't believe Heathen is not on your top three baby names list.

Seriously, though, Hazel is cute. Not that I really need to give you advice on that just yet.
