Thursday

The title of my last post was the name of the song, the title of this post is the band that sang the song. Interesting. I am watching Romeo and Juliet right now, the Leo/Clare Danes one... Which sadly came out 10 years ago when I was a freshman in high school. Why do I recall such trivial facts? Because that was the same year that in English class we read the play, and had to rewrite it and reenact it. Huh? As an English assignment, we had to rewrite Shakespeare in a different time period. My sister and I happened to have English class together and rewrote the "do you bite your thumb at me?" scene as superheros. We spent several ours on the porch painting signs like the old batman TV show- POW!, WAM!, etc. We totally rocked that project. That was also the first soundtrack that I purchased before I actually saw the movie just because Bush was suppose to have a song on it (they didn't) but it was good nonetheless. And of course Leo DiCaprio looks adorable, who can deny that?

So, it's only Thursday and I have already worked 44 hours. That's so depressing. But I do have Friday off. I negotiated it off, since it's bring your dog to work day, but either way, I am not working. I'm drinking. He he, I got home tonight around 9:30 and have been drinking ever since... But I don't feel drunk, but typing is difficult, I'm blaming it on the computer and the fact that it's new to me.

Okay, so maybe a little drunk.

But after watching the "mask ball" in Romeo and Juilet, I remembered that I have to find a costume to wear to my department Halloween party. I want to have some thing good. Let me know if you have a good idea. And slutty pumpkin doesn't count.

Back to R + J, they just showed a topless Priest with an alter boy, if only they knew what would happen years later...
