My friend is posting thankful Thursdays.. I'm hoping the things I'm thankful for will put in a better mood.
1. My Husband. He's supportive, dependable and puts up with my crazy moods.
2. My health. I've had my issues over the years (ahem, bus stop bench) but nothing serious.
3. My job. I'm thankful that I have a job....
... And on that note. I think the fall is our busiest season at work. 3 years ago, I was overwhelmed and overworked, but a promotion calmed me down. Two years ago, the idea of moving from planning to research got me through the busy season. Last year, I couldn't take it and jumped ship for a new job. This year, I'm drowning and I don't know what's going to get me through it. I'm happy I have a job, but I'm also bitter and resentful about all the work that I have and no one to help me. I know I'm not the only one because everyone is busy. I guess its times like these that make me miss having a team to work with. I work by myself, I work with other people, but no one consistently. I'm sleep deprived, straight up drained, and trying not to be so bitter.
But, I'm bitter.
Deal with it.
