Time off.

I've been feeling very uninspired lately when it comes to writing. I got so burnt out from work this fall that my head just couldn't continue with coherent thoughts at the end of the day. Since I was working so much, I couldn't take some of the vacation days that I wanted and ended up with a surplus at the end of the year. Use it or lose it. So, I've been off work since last Thursday. I can't believe I've been out of work for a week, and I still have one more week off. In total, I'll have 18 days off and so far they've been spent, shopping, eating, drinking, cooking. Having friends over for dinner, meeting friends for drinks, just trying to fit it all in. I thought I'd have lots of time to relax, but surprisingly no. But, it is nice to have the time to see all of our family and out of town friends.
