I won't tell him.
I eat a lot of vegetables, Adam doesn't. So I try to sneak in extras into meals so his diet is more balanced and somewhat healthy. Yesterday, during the first snow of the season, I decided to make lasagna. I don't have a fancy recipe or anything, I just follow the recipe on the pasta box, except I swap out real meat for soy "meat". The last time I made it I cut up some green peppers and onions and added them into a few layers to increase the vegetable content. I just cut them up normally and Adam noticed immediately. He questioned the extra veggies and then proceeded to pick them out and leave them on his plate. His complaint, "they were too many", which tends to be his complaint that I put too many vegetables in. Of course, in my opinion, there can never be too many. Yesterday when I was getting ingredients for dinner, I had the same idea to add in a few more veggies. I got a green and red pepper and a white onion, cut them up as small as I could and added them to the sauce. When we were eating, I was watching Adam closely to see if he would notice these extra vegetables, but nothing! He didn't say one word and ate every bite. I call that a successful dinner.
