Hospice

Adam and I just had our second family member move into hospice since Christmas. His maternal Grandma, Marge, isn't doing too well right now. I'm still not 100% sure what's going on, but I know it involves her heart valve not working as it should. From what I've been told her body is having to work harder to compensate. At first she was going to go home and have a hospice nurse come to her, but now it looks like she'll be heading straight to hospice care. In the meantime, my mother in law's boyfriend is awaiting surgery to remove his remaining liver cancer. I don't know how much more of this she can handle right now. On the upside, my uncle Terry seems to be adjusting well to his hospice care. We took him bowling last week, and he wants to go again next week. He's doing much better than any of use expected he would be doing.

Adam and I will be married 8 months on Saturday. I've already been to one funeral of a family member since then, I honestly can't fathom two more before our one year anniversary.
